| Thai Prince's Dog Birthday Party and the "Half Naked Princess" |
|
First of all I'd like to apologise for allowing myself to comment freely on the Thai Royal Family; This article has been motivated by the recent controversy about ABC's story maker Eric Campbell, his droolings over the royal family, called "Royal Report", the detractors of Thai Monarchy in general and the general wester attitude to judge more when they understand less. I could not see the "Royal Report" because it had been removed from ABC's website when I got there, but I could download the famous Prince's puddle birthday footage, said to show shocking views of the Princess "half naked", supposed to prove the debauchery of the Thai Royal Family. (How to download the Prince's dog birthday party video? Just go to any torrent website and search for it, you'll find it). So here, in this article I'd like to comment about this video then try to give my personal view of the value of the Royal Family, be it with objectivity and due respect. About the video of the Prince's dog birthday party.IllusionsBefore I saw the video, I read about it and I was made to understand that I was about to see how bad the Thai Royal Family was to make such an opulent feast for a dog; I was expecting to see dozens of people to come and bow to a puppy; I was explained that I'd see debauchery and half naked princesses bimboing around... I was kind of expecting an orgy of some kind and was relishing to see some royal titties :P; and some drugs maybe? But obviously, people who were giving these images are manipulators trying insincerely, as it is most journalist's habit, to grab anything they can to stain that Royal Family and its status (and I GUESS Eric Campbell in his program was trying to do exactly that); people who make a living out of preying on other people's lives and don't mind distorting the truth to attract more attention. On this video, actually what we can see is the Prince having found a good excuse to finally have a private dinner with his wife, by his swimming pool, in his house, as relaxed as can be. The video is supposed to show voluptuous decorations dedicated to the pleasures of the dog... but in reality what we can see are balloons around the pool... there's got to be at least 200 Baht of balloons there... wow... big deal... the rest of the decorations (the fairy lights in the trees) are actually the standard lighting/decoration of the pool area of the house... they've always been there and will always be... like every swimming pool of every wealthy person in the world... so are the magnificent flower arrangements. And so the Prince said that he'd have dinner by the pool and his house staff have blown balloons for the event... because they had time and because they love him. They'd probably have paid for the balloons themselves if there was not a budget for such extravagant expenses... balloons; and if they had not been ordered by the Prince or the office, they probably decided on their own to put them there. There's an outstanding cake there, quite big for a dinner for 2 (but I don't worry that the staff palates will have thanked the Chef for so much leftover - no spoilage there), with a superb sugar/marzipan centerpiece at the effiigy of a funny looking piggy cartoon in a swimsuit (which tends to prove that the event was not for the dog but just a good excuse or they'd have had a doggy theme... a bone or a sexy dog in g-stings). Top of the notch edible carving really... But let me tell you what happened (i worked in 4 and 5 stars hotels for years , in and outside of Thailand, and am well accustomed to this kind of scenario, well enough to picture the scene exactly): The Prince's house office has called a hotel (probably the Oriental) to order a birthday cake (and they have paid for it with no discount or maybe with a standard executive account discount of 20%). The zeleous Pastry Chef, knowing that it was for the Prince, has taken his time to make something of a work of art and has given it for free on top as a mark of respect because he loves the Royal Family... and because it's standard procedure for most VVIPs and regular customers. Yes in this video we can see the Princess in a sexy outfit... seems that we see her nipples and that she's wearing some kind of a g-sting with a transparent top... One talks about a voluptuous birthday party for a dog with royal titties of course he can bring attention... it's called tabloid journalism. Private TimeNow let's imagine for a while what can be the life of a royal couple: every meal is official; every meal is documented; every meal is political, is attended by the press or by people trying to sneak in requests for favors or diplomats... When can this couple have a romantic date by the pool, alone at home? And so finally the Princess who loves her busy husband wants to have a romantic date with him by the pool... and she wants to wear a kinky outfit for him (maybe for herself later that evening :P), like every loving wife in the world wants to do when she wants to please her husband... and then? Where is the debauchery there? Is it because some staff are there to see her perfect breasts? well they are professionals and they work there so they see her when she's swimming and bathing... they are used to this, indifference their job and privacy is their oath. And so finally the Royal Couple who's always in official duties left and right, stressed and spread apart, has got an idea: "we're on official duty when we dine, our birthday parties are public and official, we're always watched because there's always some official delegation or the press or something to everything we do, apart or together... so let's find any excuse to finally be able to be together on a date at home (that's not much to ask isn't it?). So everything we can find as an excuse for a date will bring attention of people in the need to be zeleous or manipulative... only one thing can not-bring-attention-from-the-vultures because there's no ground to do something that will imply ceremonies and attention; one thing that by itself will prevent us from having to invite public figures: let's make a party for a dog... then we get a chance to keep the importune away."
As you can see on the video the date has nothing to do with the dog. The dog comes in play only when they cut the cake... you can feel that they do a tiny birthday celebration as an excuse for the party... they even forget to bring the dog and are reminded... they kind of sing a birthday song ... they don't really care about that part of the dinner, it's obvious... they wanted time together and they got it... they can thank the dog for the excuse. The Prince seems to be under heavy stress and still manages to be good company to his wife and when comes the birthday cake singing he is obviously uncomfortable because he understands how ridiculous it is (a ceremony for a dog) while necessary (to prove their excuse for being left alone for once). Journalism or Paparazzism? There is absolutely no ground to say anything negative about this couple and this event, really... Eric Campbell and every other tabloid vulture, trying to build a negative image of the Royal Family using this video are surely very insincere and don't deserve to have access to public opinion. My synic guess is that they've seen how hot is the princess and are jealous because they only can get small flat nose peasants from girly bars... whom they pay by the hour. Enough about this video and our shameful intrusion in the Royal Couple's private life, but as a conclusion to this part: it is clear that a journalist who would use it in an argumentation to get at the Royal Family can't be impartial and is a manipulator before being a worthless scribble. The Royal Family and Absolute Power"Power Corrupts and Absolute Power Corrupts Absolutely" is Bullshit."Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men." That's a very limited thought Mr the Baron Acton: The point of having a King with "absolute power" is that he doesn't need and want more, so he becomes good (isn't God - whichever version of God we trust - good by essence because he's got absolute power?). People who have "power" and are still corrupt are only people who want more power... hence they don't have absolute power; and if they had, the only thing left they would need is to be loved, so they'd have to be good. So let's thank the King if he indeed has "absolute power" because without it Thailand would now be third world country. The more power we grant to the King and the bigger his achievements. From the time when he took Thailand over until now the condition of Thai people has evolved in the highest rate on the planet, and they are now some of the most envied population in the world, both in terms of development and quality of life... everybody wants to be in Thailand... and who was in charge all that time with "absolute power"? ... the King! You want to know who's really bad and wants more power regardless the cost for Thai people? Who wants more power because he's bad? Not like a king who would be born with all power and only needs to be loved ... so he's good. The one you ought to spend more energy to scrutinise? ... I name the criminal Thaksin! (who flees the country to avoid prison but finances people in red to go die in the street for him) The accounts of history books, fake or not, that we are conditioned to take as undisputable truth in occident gives us very bad images of past kings we had. But looking at it closely it seems that kings who did awful things were not born crown prince, or they did not actually hold "absolute power" and were set to get it, whether they were manipulated or on from their own will. "For its an ill Bird will befoule her own Nest"Prime Ministers in Thailand have been puppets, junta, dictators, crooked businessmen, morons... The King has kept his place of king and intervened only to protect the nation as a whole... let's see the result at the end Mr. Campbell: There's a reason why they say in the army: "you salute the rank, not the man". This is how it works because if you don't salute the rank because of the man beneath it, you then fkk up the whole system. By criticizing the Prince you think you're doing good for the future of Thailand (more probably, within yourself, you just want attention for your career). As a conclustion and regarding the continuous and obvious display of wealth from the Thai Royal Family (which is not the case in the above-mentioned video): this is only what Thai people want: So how would you expect the King to fail to show face and opulence? Thai people want this and if the girls and Thais you hang around say the opposite it's because maybe they're not really Thais anymore after having spent so much time with ignorants who seem so smart and have money to spread... maybe they just want to get your pity to get your cash. Maybe they'd say anything to keep you in your illusion or maybe they just think you're right because you're giving 1.000 baht an hour. If you knew Thais better you'd know that they want their King to wear gold and that they WILL love the Crown Prince when he will be King. Long live the King and the Prince and the whole Royal Family, let's all love them and give them a power as absolute as can be so that they will only need our love and respect. PS: in this article, when I refer to Eric Campbell, I refer to everybody who criticizes the Royal Family because they don't know better and because in school in Latin countries we are conditioned to fear monarchy. This is a learnt concept, and when associated with the fact that they evolve in shady social circles it prevents them to see the reality of Thailand and the benefits of having an undisputed monarchy. I've lived 99% with only Thai people and you know what? Even if I've heard them making reserves and comments about the Royal Family (yes, I've heard all the gossips about the King and about the Prince), 99.9% of the degrading remarks towards the monarchy have been poured to my ears by foreigners (the ones who know and understand Thailand the least but can't feel that they're alive if they don't who that they know, judge and compare).
They are prisoners of this overwhelming protocol and trying to comment or judge their private life is futile while proof of the corruption in the heart of the writer himself. Comments about this article please mail reggaebkk(( a ))yahoo.co.uk |
